Weekly Team Report from Texas - February 14, 2020
TX DR report week of 2/10 - 2/13/20
We had the same team as the past two weeks, so the teamwork this week was awesome!
Inside Carla’s Home, all the doors were hung, and all but the kitchen and living room was trimmed. Major strides were made with plumbing, and will be finished next week when we receive all the parts needed. The outlets, switches, and some of the lighting and fans were installed. Flooring was installed in every room except part of the kitchen.
Outside, the water line was completed, so we will have water as soon as the water heater and sinks are connected. The sanitary line is ready to be connected to the existing one, which is under the existing mobile home. It has not been decided how we are to proceed with that! The weather head and ground were installed, so the electrical is done pending the county connection.
When part of the team arrived at our next home (the Tejas Home), the tear down was done for us, and the existing mobile home was already disconnected and moved! That saved a huge amount of time for us! We staked the rough outline of the home to the owners’ approval, and will start setting up the blocks for the foundation next week after they are delivered.
At what we call The Purple Home (one that we previously did flooring, painting, and finish trim inside), we installed the weather head (since we did such a great job at Carla’s home).
