Weekly Report Team Bastrop

Praise the Lord for another productive week at the Bastrop Disaster Rebuilding project site, with work completed at one home, and good progress on others.  We were joined this week by Joe and Donna Denkevitz and Lindsey Jones and Carl Erlenbaugh. While more work remains at the J and D home, additional materials are needed before NOMADS are called back for more work, and this probably won't happen before the end of our time here. DR Report from Team Bastrop

God brought us some new team members this week and we had a wonderful week even though there were some rain drops one day. This week we welcomed Dan and Virgie Brown who will be the new team leaders till the end of this project. Also, new this week are Patty and Gary Clover and David and Marilyn Hayes. We had 8 rvs and 14 NOMADS working on three houses.The week concluded with a farewell dinner for Tim and Ellie Brubaker at Murphy's Steakhouse in Winchester, Tx and a visit to DQ in Smithville. ...

Weekly Report from Team Bastrop

God showed His love to the team many times this week and our prayers were answered. We began the week on Saturday with a farewell dinner for Gary and Avis Norton at an Italian restaurant. Then before leaving, Gary and Avis Norton had a death in the family and Gary's staph infection worsened. They spent the week dealing with these issues and Gary's health situation improved. Team Bastrop weekly report

 We have been so blessed this week. God has been with us keeping us safe and productive. This week we had 8 rvs and 14 NOMADS. We welcomed Nelson and Nancy Woodruff and, after a delightful dinner at Pockets and the traditional DQ stop in Smithville, we sent Sue Albright off to another NOMADS project in San Antonio. Report from Team Bastrop 2-1-2013

God is so good. We had 16 NOMADS on this project and we were divided between 3 houses. One house is nearly completed and we will start on a new location on Monday. Our week started with welcoming Bill and Carol Downes and Tom and Dottie Spreitzer. This was a wonderful group of NOMADS who are serving God. Team Bastrop weekly report

God is so good and He has been with us on each of the 3 houses assigned to the NOMADS. This week's report from Team Bastrop

Praise God!   We had 9 rigs and 16 NOMADS working this week.  New leaders, Tim and Ellie Brubaker joined us Tuesday afternoon and will take over leadership Monday, January 21. The team started the new week with needed materials.  The enthusiasm of the team was very upbeat even though we were faced with below average temperatures and much needed rain.  We are still working on three homes.
