January-March 2013 projects applications wanted

We are adding projects to our schedule for the first half of 2013, and NOMADS are already signing on for them.  If you're interested in hosting NOMADS during Winter 2013, please make application soon.  The earliest applicants will most likely garner signups, and later or last minute project applicants may not.  We will post a similar number of projects each period as is typical for us, so if you're interested in a particular time frame, please apply early to be sure you can get that timing (if ...

2012 Annual Meeting - Hamburg, NY September 24-28th

Registration information will be available in mid-June, so please plan to join us in Hamburg, New York for our Annual Meeting and Reunion.  There will be plenty of fellowship, entertainment, workshops, business discussions and more.  So we hope to see you in beautiful New York state this fall!   

Pray for Fall Disaster efforts

  Please pray for the NOMADS Fall/Winter Disaster Rebuilding RTPs. The NOMADS have been invited to help rebuild after disasters in Cordova, AL, Haleyville, AL, and Bastrop, Texas. Each project is unique and your prayers are needed. The Cordova project focuses on rebuilding at the Cordova Long United Methodist Church which was destroyed by an EF-4 tornado on April 27, 2011. Praise for our Disaster Rebuilders

  Praise God. This marks the conclusion of the NOMADS Disaster Rebuilding Spring RTP in Haleyville, AL and Vandemere, NC. God has been so good and shown His guidance in many ways in these locations. Thank you to the NOMADS who committed themselves to being Jesus' hands and feet in these communities. At Haleyville, 48 members worked on this project over 14 weeks and contributed approximately 2888 hours of love-labor.
