NOMADS Norm & Ruth Drissell were recently featured in a Born Free RV AD in Motorhome Magazine.
Born Free is the brand of Class C motorhome they have driven throughout all the 48 states, Alaska and all the Canadian provinces. In addition, they have driven the entire length of South America.
Their motorhome has a NOMADS sign on the side!
Talk about promotions!

New Vendor Licensing Agreement
We have a new agreement which licenses VENDORS to use the NOMADS logo and
produce and sell merchandise to individuals who are members of UNITED
METHODIST NOMADS.

NOMADS get local TV coverage!
Russ & Nancy Golly and Ernie & Donna Rainey were featured on their recent project in McCamey, TX by CBS 7 TV station from Odessa, TX
Also interviewed on the broadcast was Rev. Earl Richardson who many of you may know from projects in Rio Grande City, TX and Pharr, TX. Earl is serving the UMC in McCamey and has been responsible for organizing many NOMADS projects where ever he has served. Thanks Earl for all your hard work organizing and helping NOMADS help others!

Editors note - Carolyn and my 1st NOMADS project was in Rio Grande City in 2000 where Earl was pastor at St. John's UMC. We later worked on another project in Pharr where Earl was again the pastor.

This UMC Greensburg Tornado recovery effort in nearby Haviland has had Linda & Weldon Hyde as volunteer coordinators. Now, their own area of Fredonia has flooding problems and they must return home. The UMC effort needs help in coordinating volunteer efforts to replace the Hydes.
